This is why everyone should live in California

The Halos lead the Evil Empire 4-2 in the middle of the fourth, but unfortunately the weather is not cooperating. We're in the middle of the second rain delay of the night. On the bright side, we get to watch an episode of "Elimidate."

This show always bothers me. First I don't get why any guy would agree to go on a date with four women. I can barely keep myself from vomiting on a first date with one woman. Plus there are cameras watching your every move. That's way too much pressure. And why is it that the ladies get worked up when the dude makes out with one or the other? What, you thought you were in a monogamous relationship? You're on a date with three other chicks for Christ's sake!

Anyway, back to the game. Escobar has been shaky, but effective, and may done for the night because of the rain. Troy Glaus crushed a Kevin Brown fastball in the 1st to give the Angels the early 3-0 lead and Jeff DaVannon scored on a Bengie Molina sac fly in the fourth.

Update: It hasn't rained for an hour, but the umpires aren't restarting the game because there is supposedly another storm on the way. Wow, lucky for the Yankees that they decided not to restart the game a half inning before it can go official. Really lucky... a little too lucky. In fact it's bullshit. Isn't this kind of stall tactic against the rules?

Just another reason to hate George Stienbrenner.
