Honor isn't what it used to be
Just what, exactly, did George Tenet accomplish as Director of Central Intelligence that qualifies him for a "Medal of Freedom"? He failed to avert 9-11, he was wrong on Iraqi WMD, he was wrong on the tactics employed by the insurgency, and he allowed the agency rank-and-file covertly attack the President’s re-election campaign. Bush should be running from this guy - not giving him medals.
