White Sox claim Jenks
The Chicago White Sox have taken a chance on Bobby Jenks, claiming him off waivers after the Angels DFA'd him to make room for Kendry Morales. (Thanks Joe)
Well dang. I was sure he would slip through waivers. It's a good move for the Sox - Jenks has put up great numbers when he's not injured (or suspended, or in jail, or drunk and passed-out on the clubhouse floor...), and it's not like he costs much, so why not take a shot?
In other waiver wire news, Alfredo Amezaga was picked up by the Rockies. Put Amezaga's big bat in the thin air of Coors Field and he may get his OPS over 500. Whoa there...
